AI
AI features in your product
Useful AI features built into the product you already have, with the guard rails around them: what the model can see, what it can do, and what happens when it's wrong.
What we've built
Reading photos into data
In HelloRestaurant, a restaurant photographs its printed menu and an OpenAI vision model turns it into menu items, with categories, prices and variants, in a fixed JSON shape the app can check.
An assistant that works with your records
The HeySales assistant uses the app's own functions as tools: it can search and update contacts, look at and move deals, and add tasks and notes, and it only ever works with the signed-in person's own company's records.
Voice
HeySales also has a voice mode, where the browser talks to OpenAI's realtime voice model directly. Spoken conversations aren't saved on our side.
Matching products across shops
For HelloSupermarket, a matching job shortlists Aldi's and Iceland's most similar products and asks an AI model which one a shopper would buy instead. Only matches with at least 70% confidence are shown as "Similar".
How we build them
The model sees only what it needs
We send the smallest amount of data that does the job, and keep personal data out of prompts where we can.
Answers in a shape we can check
Where the output feeds the app, we ask for structured data and check it before saving, rather than trusting free text.
People stay in charge
Features are designed so people can see, correct or undo what the model did.
Costs and limits
Every call costs money, so AI features sit behind sign-in or paid plans, with limits. In HeySales the assistant is part of the Pro plan.

Questions
Which AI models do you use?
Our projects use OpenAI's models through their API. We choose per feature, and can use other providers where they suit the job better.
Is our data used to train the models?
Data sent through OpenAI's API isn't used to train their models by default. We check the terms of any provider before suggesting it.
